　　It’s almost impossible to go through life without experiencing some kind of failure. People who do so palpably live so cautiously that they go nowhere. Put simply, they’re not really living at all. But, the wonderful thing about failure is that it’s entirely up to us to decide how to look at it.

　　We can choose to see failure as “the end of the world”,or as proof of just how inadequate we are. Or, we can look at failure as the incredible learning experience that it often is. Every time we fail at something, we can choose to look for the lesson we’re meant to learn. These lessons are very important; they’re how we grow, and how we keep from making the same mistake again. Failures stop us only if we let them.

　　Failure can also teach us things about ourselves that we would never have learned otherwise. For instance, failure can help you discover how strong a person you are. Failing at something can help you discover your truest friends, or help you find unexpected motivation to succeed.

　　想要不經歷一些失敗的度過一生，這幾乎是不可能的。想這樣做的人可能會生活如此謹慎以至于他們無處可去。簡單地說,他們不是真正的活著。但是,失敗的好處是它完全取決于我們如何看它。

　　我們可以選擇將失敗視為“世界末日”,或者只是證明我們是多么不足。或者,我們可以把失敗看成是司空見慣的極好的學習經驗。每次我們某些事情失敗的時候,我們可以選擇去尋找我們要學習的教訓。這些教訓是非常重要的;他們代表了我們如何成長,如何避免再次犯同樣的錯誤。失敗不能阻止我們，除非我們容許他們這樣做。

　　失敗也可以教會我們一些我們原本永遠也不會知道東西。例如,失敗可以幫助你發現你是多么強大的一個人。某些事情上的失敗可以幫助你發現你最真實的朋友,或幫助你找到通往成功的意想不到的動力。
